Have you ever wondered why you have to fill out your personal agent information time and time again in every transaction? Your agent information such as your Name, Brokerage Information, Phone Numbers, etc…. hasn’t changed.
Q: Why do you have to constantly fill in the same information over and over again.
A: You don’t have to any longer if you use the Transaction Information Feature in zipForm®
The Transaction Information Feature can also save you time when you frequently work with lenders, title companies, investors, other vendors, or transaction parties. This feature works in conjunction with your zipForm address book.
The process to use this exciting new feature is just two (2) simple steps.
1) Create the parties within your zipForm address book
2) With just one click in the Transaction Information Feature you can fill out your forms.
First, you want to manually create or import your contact information and other party contacts to your zipForm address book. You will only have to do this step one time. You can import your existing contacts simply by following these steps:
To access the zipForm® address book click on the tools tab and select address book.


To Import Contacts from Microsoft Outlook, CSV, or VCard Files into your address book select the Import Button.

To add Contacts from a CSV File or VCard File Type select the files type drop down menu, browse the location on your machine that you have saved the file, click on the file to select.

Now select the contacts you now want to add.
HINT: To ADD MULTIPLE VCARDS AT ONCE hold down your Ctrl key when highlighting the contacts to select them.
A Message will inform you that your contacts were Sucessfully Imported. Select OK to finish.

HINT: Be sure to add your own agent information into the address book so you can add all your personal information into a transaction with one click.

The Second Step is plugging your contact information into the desired transaction. The Transaction Information Feature allows you to import contacts from your zipForm address book to your transaction.

Open a transaction or create a new Transaction and Select the Transaction Information Button from the tool bar.

Select the Index Card next to the Party you wish to add.

Select the appropriate contact.

When you have finished adding all the contacts you wanted to add to the transaction, select SAVE.
HINT: You can review or edit the contact information by simply expanding the party information by selecting the plus sign next to the party.


The selected contact information will now populate all the corresponding form fields in your transaction.
