Professional Questions:

Tell us about your real estate career (title, office, years, specialties, designations, etc)

I’m a full time REALTOR®, 16 years experience with Real Living Kee Realty. I've served on the RPAC committee for 2 terms 2017 - 2018.  I’m a proud member and secretary of the Local Business Network- St. Clair Shores chapter, and member of Michigan Real Estate Master Minds.

You’ve been nominated for being such a compassionate, thoughtful, kind and hardworking person and professional; what ways do you try to bring those attributes to your profession? Treating people the way I would want to be treated. Always being ethical and working in my clients best interest.

You’ve been a REALTOR® for many years now, what background and experienced made you interested in real estate? I’ve always had the entrepreneur bug in me. I wanted to be self-employed or own a business. Real Estate seemed like the perfect fit.

Which professional achievement are you most proud of?

Having Over a 98% Client Satisfaction Rating. Proven through QSC a third party, private company. I was recognized Nationally by the Real Living franchise with the 360 Service Diamond Elite Award.

What is the most common “tid-bit” of information most people don’t know being a REALTOR®?  That it is not a 9-5 job. You are basically on call 24/7 in some way or another if you want to be successful but you do need to set some boundaries. Time management is very important. Both professional and personal.

What piece(s) of technology do you incorporate into your business practices? All kinds! I love technology. It has definitely changed the business. Smart phones, digital signatures, the ShowingTime app and the Homesnap Premium app are among my favorites.

What is the most rewarding aspect of being REALTOR®?

The satisfaction of helping people and their families. Knowing that you helped make a positive difference in their lives.

What is the most difficult aspect of being a REALTOR®?

Where to start?! I would say the many things we do as REALTORS® behind the scenes, wearing so many hats so to speak. One of my favorite sayings from one of my brokers is, "If it were easy everyone would do it!"

For someone who is looking to buy or sell their home, what are somethings you’d like them to know and expect working with you? That I will always be working for them and looking out in their best interests in an ethical manner.

Married to my wife Shelley for 25 years! We have two (2) adult children a son and a daughter and two (2) dogs! I'm a huge football fan - Go Lions!  I’m an avid cook, in the kitchen and on the grill. A craft beer lover. I enjoy taking my Doberman to the dog park, playing golf and corn hole.

Can you share with us some of your community service involvement, how you became interested, and where or how someone can get more involved? When my kids were younger, I was very involved in soccer at the St Clair Shores Soccer League as a head coach and vice president on the board of directors for many, many years. I was also the web master for the league.

I’ve also volunteered many times with the St. Clair Shores Goodfellas selling papers at Christmas time in years past. Getting involved is easy. Just ask questions. Your local charities and organizations are always looking for help or volunteers. We have several charities that we try and help when we are able. It’s important to try and give back.
